How audio becomes notes

Your microphone controls who hears you in the call. Notes are a separate choice.
With your notes on, the meeting host transcribes your speech and holds each line briefly while the meeting host's filter checks it.
Everyone in the meeting can see approved lines from people who have notes on. Only the speaker can remove their own lines.
After everyone finishes, someone can explicitly copy the combined final transcript. The final report shows counts, never withheld words.

Speech recognition and filtering run on the meeting host. In this public demo, audio and video pass through LiveKit Cloud, and approved live transcript text passes through Vercel and Cloudflare for admitted viewers. Withheld text is never sent to the notes panel.
